Newcastle is one of the many small towns that surround highway 80 on the way up to Lake Tahoe from Sacramento. Located between Auburn and Rocklin, Newcastle offers a small town living experience without being completely isolated from the bigger cities of Sacramento or Roseville. Newcastle itself offers great dining and local comforts like fruit stands and weekly farmer’s markets. But, in case there’s something you can’t find within the city limits, nearby Roseville is only a 10-15 minute drive, and Auburn is only about 5 minutes away, where you will find ample shopping and dining choices.
